Latevia Priddy is originally from Paducah, Kentucky. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and later earned her Juris Doctorate from Northern Kentucky University. After graduation, she formed her own law firm in Kentucky, Priddy & Associates, PSC. She gained experience as a general practitioner handling a diverse range of cases, including family, personal injury, criminal, probate, estate planning, consumer protection, EEOC, labor and employment, religious liberty, civil rights, landlord/tenant, for-profit and non-profit business formation, and consulting. In 2020, Ms. Priddy moved to Georgia and worked at a family law firm before joining the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office.
Ms. Priddy is licensed in all State courts of Georgia and Kentucky and the District of Columbia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. She maintains active membership with the Kentucky State Bar Association, the Gate City Bar Association, the DeKalb Lawyer’s Association, the Greater Atlanta Black Prosecutors Association, the Lawyer’s Club, the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and CLM. She joined Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser & Eidex in August 2021 and her practice at GMKE focuses on the defense of automobile, premises and general liability cases.
Ms. Priddy resides in Atlanta. Aside from her involvement in various professional and legal societies, Ms. Priddy enjoys serving in her church, going to the movies, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Additionally, she serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Carver Bible College.
